Seven earthquakes exceeding magnitude 4 have occurred on the Bardarbunga caldera rim in the last 24 hours and over sixty weaker ones. The strongest earthquakes were at magnitude 4.6 Wednesday and 4.6 just after midnight Thursday.
According to the Icelandic Met office 7 earthquakes exceeded magnitude 4 and 15 events were in the magnitude range 3-3.9. Subsidence of the caldera continuous.
Around 30 earthquakes have been detected between Dyngjujökull glacier and the eruption site in Holuhraun in the last 24 hours. The strongest ones were both magnitude 1.4 yesterday at 10:07 and 13:33.
