Through the joint contributions of domestic and foreign members, companies, associations and institutions, the FRIENDS of Vatnajökull Association will be able to support worthy and important projects that may promote growth in many sectors within the park's community and help to disseminate greater awareness of the uniqueness and importance of the Vatnajökull National Park – the largest of its kind in Europe.
