The Friends of Vatnajökull Association Board of directors

The Friends of Vatnajökull Association Board of directors comprises seven members, including a chairman, vice-chairman, secretary and treasurer. Five of the Board members are appointed for a term of three years, but the chairman and vice-chairman are elected at the annual general meeting from the group of FRIENDS of Vatnajökull, also for terms of three years each time.  In order to ensure that the association reaches its objectives, the Board is composed of members that are closely linked to various interest groups and relevant sectors of the economy.
